I'm not a Marlins fan in the slightest, and baseball is one of my least favorite sports (I still enjoy it), but that is the most emotional I've been watching a sports moment in a long time. Just so so cool, and it makes it hard not to believe there's someone out there controlling the way things work out.

Give me a break.

If there is someone controlling the way things work out, he really fricked this up.

He kills a great kid but lets Dee Gordon hits homerun.

Gordon said after the game he'd never hit a ball that far, even in batting practice. Simply amazing.

I checked the HR tracker after I heard that and apparently he has actually hit 4 or 5 longer than that one, but I'd rather believe him over the HR tracker.

Let's not do this here. Just enjoy the moment in any way you see fit.

Not a baseball fan really but man it got dusty in my house when I watched the tribute replay on TV. Gordons lead off will be a sports moment for the ages.
