Dude has already wrecked his body and his brain. He will be lucky to live to be 50, and if he makes it that long, there is zero chance he will be very mobile or functional

This.
He's obviously a hard worker and pretty damn tough mentally. Probably too much for his own good. I know he's thinking he can prove the doubters and stay healthy enough to be a really good and efficient QB for an entire season, but at this point, he is risking his physical and mental health.
