no kidding. Goodell is looking into having the Super Bowl in London in 2014.
Super Bowl hosts:
2010: Miami
2011: Dallas
2012: Indianapolis
2013: New Orleans
2014: *London?
Super Bowl in London

I dont get it either with him having these games in Europe. Why did he get rid of NFL Europe if that is such an important market for him? Also I liked NFL Europe, it was my football fix for the off time of CFB and the NFL.

Because NFL E was losing $30m/yr; that's why.
Hosting an occasional game in Europe allows the league to focus on global marketing w/o the cost of sustaining a league.

I assume you mean the pro bowl, keep it in Hawaii the week after the SB and the NFL officials need to accept that its just never gonna be a big deal like the other All-Star games.
I actually watched the Pro Bowl for the first time in about 10 years and it's because there is still a little interest in pro football. I mean the big game is still to come. After the Super Bowl I couldn't give two shits about some exhibition in Hawaii.
I bet tonight's Pro Bowl got the best ratings in years.

and now that a lot of people watched it they're like, "man this sucks" and openly mocking it
i mean the DEs were obviously told not to sack the QB. even the ESPN announcers were making fun of the game

All that matters to Goodell and the owners are the ratings. That is what Goodell is there to do. If they are up, he has succeeded.

Goodell sucks.
I doubt the owners think that.
It's not like he hurt the integrity or quality of the Pro Bowl. The Pro Bowl has had nothing to do with integrity or quality for 25 years. I'm not sure why people are acting like it did.

true but the pro bowl was better than last nights crap. He also STILL hasnt fixed the labor agreements so now we have a freakin uncapped year next year and maybe even a lockout..

Better? Seriously? Is this a word you can apply to any Pro Bowl?

He doesn't work for the players or the sport. He works for the owners...who, let's remember, are pulling the strings behind the curtain. If they are unhappy, they will get rid of him.

Hell, many of them usually begged out of it anyway before the change in schedule.
None of them for the most part are playing hard...the rules are modified...why should I care?

This has to be the dumbest thing the NFL could think of doing. If they thought nobody showed up in Miami try having it in London.
Yo, where's the beach. Nope, not going.

The new draft arrangement is going to really suck
I agree with most everything said in this thread except the above quote. I think having the 1st round of the draft in primetime on a Thursday is a good idea. I'm much more likely to watch then than on a Saturday at noon when the weather is usually decent in South Louisiana.
