I wonder how many NFL teams have taken Te'o off their board for this. If you had told me two months ago, that teams would be removing him form their big boards for off the field stuff, I would have called you Manti Te'o of the future.

It really is pure gold over there right now. So Teo is so strong of a person and player that his grandmother and the love of his life both die within a day of each other and Teo can play lights out against Mich State on Saturday, the day of said GF's funeral mind you, but he finds out a month before the championship game that he was punked and that made him breakdown and play like crap. If he can produce legit phone bills showing multiple 8/9 hour calls from his number to a number with a California area code then I'll buy that he was the biggest idiot on the face of the earth.
Until then I'll just believe he's a closet case that had his lover create an online beard so his teammates wouldn't become suspicious.
Once the media took it and ran with it he gladly took the extra publicity all the way to the Heisman ceremony.
