so about 5 people got together to troll te'o, and he is so stupid to believe that 1 picture was enough to show she was real?

doesn't have to be 5. one, maybe 2.

maybe in 1998

MAYBE in 2003 for a really sheltered person
dude is mormon. think really, really sheltered.

quote:

but he said he talked to her FAMILY
because he'll totally go out and admit that he only knows his girlfriend on the internet.

quote:

he was told she DIED. he never looked into it? got an obituary? met her friends?
He may have done this after the Michigan game. Obviously he discovered it was a hoax at some point. But the damage was done after he made a big deal of it, he couldn't go out and admit that to the press.

BS. I'm sorry, I do not believe this guy at all. There are multiple and I mean MULTIPLE ways to have checked to see if this girl was real or not. We have Skype and other ways to video chat. When I was 17 I struck up a long distance friendship with a girl I met in a Yahoo! chatroom. We video chatted and this was back in 2004.

More motivational as a middle linebacker: Ray Lewis or Manti Te'o?

Ray Ray has that bravado and fire, but Manti is willing to make up stories of tragic deaths about people close to him to inspire and delight his teammates.

Whoyagot?

"This is incredibly embarrassing to talk about, but over an extended period of time, I developed an emotional relationship with a woman I met online. We maintained what I thought to be an authentic relationship by communicating frequently online and on the phone, and I grew to care deeply about her. "To realize that I was the victim of what was apparently someone's sick joke and constant lies was, and is, painful and humiliating. "It further pains me that the grief I felt and the sympathies expressed to me at the time of my grandmother's death in September were in any way deepened by what I believed to be another significant loss in my life. "I am enormously grateful for the support of my family, friends and Notre Dame fans throughout this year. To think that I shared with them my happiness about my relationship and details that I thought to be true about her just makes me sick. I hope that people can understand how trying and confusing this whole experience has been. "In retrospect, I obviously should have been much more cautious. If anything good comes of this, I hope it is that others will be far more guarded when they engage with people online than I was. "Fortunately, I have many wonderful things in my life, and I'm looking forward to putting this painful experience behind me as I focus on preparing for the NFL Draft."

He is doubling down.

This could really blow up.

can't believe he's going to try to keep lying about it. well, actually I can...he'll pay his boy Ronoanhiah to take the blame as well, but the facts from his own mouth will do him in. he claims to have met the girl in person at a stanford game...then the pics all sent to him have to look like the girl he met...well they found the girl whose pics they are and she has never met the dude

i know plenty of mormons. people on here are acting like mormons are retarded and don't know what computers are

quote:

because he'll totally go out and admit that he only knows his girlfriend on the internet.

it's 2012

quote:

he couldn't go out and admit that to the press.

so instead he creates a fake story about her death as a rallying point? that's like 1000x worse
