As soon as I saw Madson warming I just laughed. He should be fired on the spot for that alone.

Fired is silly. But he completely fricked up this game. Hill was cruising with a reasonable pitch count and he decides to make a change because some stat sheet tells you to do so?
It's tough enough to have to beat the opponent. But you shouldn't have to beat your own manager. Pay attention to the game man

Hershisher finished his fricking WS games - Tommy wasn't some fool...who was going to ruin Hershishers outing by bringing in some guy who can't make it as a regular starting pitcher so he's relegated to the pen?
You ride the hot hand. If a guy is befuddling the opponent why take him out to give the opposition a better option?
This guy is killing us, hope they bring in a reliever we've already seen and rocked twice. Great plan.
