More than likely there’s some fine print about a background check. Which Portnoy won’t pass.
He’s banned for life from NFL events. Just last year he was LITERALLY dragged out, body completely limp, from a game he went to in disguise.
It’s obviously all shtick for him. But there’s no chance the NFL allows this.
And the blue check brigade HATES barstool so they will cover for Roger.

I bet Goodell says yes but then Dave pulls out at last second and says “we were gonna do it but Goodell was putting all these restrictions on what we could talk about and ask and was being a cuck so we’re not doing it anymore”..... Would be a total Dave thing to do!

If Goodel had it in him he should agree and wear the Goodell clown shirt. It would be funny and self deprecating. If Portnoy attacks him he can just take it and be humble and Portnoy just looks like an a-hole and bully.
But he won’t. He will match the money to charity, take the next highest bid and say we won’t submit to a stunt like this and the blue check marks will call barstool misogynistic and that’s if.

i agree with you, it wont happen. but the press that will come from this and the unlimited barstool digs at the nfl forever will be worth much more that $250k and portnoy jumped on that quickly

You must be new to following Portnoy. Not a chance in hell it doesn’t happen because of Dave backing out.

If by some miracle this does actually happen and Dave is allowed to go to Goodell’s, it would be great if Roger chooses Brady and Gronk’s first MNF game as Bucs as the date this happens.

in theory, yes. but when approaching these kinds of numbers the bidders aren't bidding $50 at a time.

If Goodell did this the public opinion of him would improve a large amount IMO.

Got arrested at NFL HQ protesting Deflategate, has repeatedly snuck into nfl games and events in disguise and been kicked out, made TShirts with Goodell as a clown, etc etc.

Yes, the commish will just match the bid and allow 2 or more kids who are terminally ill to come watch the game with him and he will come off looking good.
