I don't know what Hinch will decide according to the roster.
But I can tell you what he's thinking...
"This is a good problem to have!"
Seriously, I think they keep the extra bat for pinch hit opportunities in LA. Which bat, not sure. But I wouldn't be surprised it maybin doesn't make the roster. I'd be willing to roll the dice with white and kemp.
Maybin's defense scares me. Kemp is just as fast on the bases and a better defender (marginally)

It seems like Marisnick would be healthy by now. I read earlier in the week he had been throwing and taking fly balls. He also hasn't faced live pitching in over a month though

Well, he already has trouble catching up to fastballs... so it's not like he has to "get his timing back."

There's going to be another bat definitely. White would be a safe assumption.
Kemp for Maybin or Fisher wouldn't hurt my feelings.
And with the LH starters, wouldn't hurt my feelings if Beltran was left off too.

Watching replay of Game 7, Rjebla is right.
Altuve was definitely yelling Boom Boom Boom in response to Kahnle from Game 2 when he K'd Altuve

If anyone has a link to clip, would be most appreciated. Was at that game and was way too woke at that time to discern such a reaction.

I don't possess those kind of Internet abilities, but Altuve didn't show him up, he did it facing the dugout and crowd.
But it explains the high and tight he got in last AB.
I believed Robertson when he called my bad, but it was intentional.

Oh it was intentional. He can say my bad all he wants but it’s easy to put it together. Thing is, kahnle started it...in game 2 at Houston. The clip that Bunta linked earlier shows a shot of kahnle walking off the field from the 3rd base dugout camera and you can see altuve was still standing there staring at kahnle at home plate.
Even from the shot from centerfield you could see Sanchez looked shocked that kahnle’s celebration lasted so long.
The Astros never made a big deal about it though. Never retaliated with a pitch or with any comments. Altuve let his bat do the talking and then mocked kahnle with the 3 boom chants after doing his normal celebration with correa. It should have ended there but the Yankees had to throw one up and in his next plate appearance.
Like ryno said. They deserved it and worse. They even deserved the thumbs down troll from McCullers. To the victor goes the spoils.

I haven't been around, but is this not the apex for those of us that's been part of the DAT since when?.....2011? 2012? To the Brian Bogusevics hopes to the Crane/Luhnow has no interest in winning with this franchise and now we're in the World Series. I couldnt even watch the last two games at times. I've watched the final out at least 50 times today alone. I'm sure I'll watch it a few more times.
As much bickering and complaining that I've seen everyone do, it all culminated to an AL Pennant.
If Houston wins this thing, I'll be in Houston for the parade to have a beer with any of you guys.

Do we know who started the first DAT? Every great community has to have a founder.

I want to believe the answer to this question is LSUGrandDad.

I watched altuve score in game two about 100x last Sunday. Yesterday I was just burning my phone battery watching everything.

I stayed up till 2:30 last night watching JV's game 6 performance and LMJ's curveball clinic again. It was fantastic, no ragrets
Posted on 10/23/17 at 8:25 am to JLock
LMJ came up so massive for us in game 7. Didn’t have to waste any of the pen and gave us a shoot at stealing one in LA. It’s going to be 100 degrees so i don’t see verlander going too deep
Tuesday is going to be stressful first team to 1 probably wins it.

Should find out sometime today whether Seager is on the roster for LA. I would be surprised if he isn't again

Two days in a row without some playoff baseball... this sucks... I'm ready for tomorrow night!

I thought you were exaggerating...then I looked it up...and you are right. At game time tomorrow, it will be 99 degrees, with the humidity at a whopping 7%. I hope the boys brought their chapstick with them.
By 2 hours into the game, it is down to 92 degrees.
And they have a wind advisory tomorrow, but it looks like that dies down by game time.
Los Angeles must feel like the inside of a microwave oven.
