Yeah, he’s not worth $6 M, but if Urias is $4.4 M, I figure Dubon’s ability to play all OF positions will trump Urias’ IF only

I think they should see what kind of return they could get for Yordan. If he can't play a position in the field and is gonna miss you time every year I'd prefer him gone. I'm curious to see how they handle Altuve, Correa, Pena, and Paredes. I also can't believe how complacent we got rolling Yuli out everyday at first, those were magical times.

There it is. The dumbest post of the offseason up to this point. Who is going to top it?

Time for Altuve to complete his indirect Biggio arc.

Well, in Tuve's defense, when he chases 3000, it will be as the free swinger he has always been, unlike Biggio, who pretty much gave up on anything team related

I'm not on Team Trade Yordan. However I don't think its an absolute absurdity to suggest. The man doesn't stay healthy. Hard to expect he'll suddenly become a picture of healthy as he ages. Its always something. Every single year. This year was wasted to injuries. Last year he played but he had the wrist injury where he missed a couple weeks and had an absolute power outage for months.

Again I dont want to trade him at this point. But the injuries are a point of frustration. This guy has the potential to be in the MVP race every year. Hit 300+ with 40 to 50 home runs. But he isn't. Hes great...when he plays. When hes healthy. But peak Yordan is rare.

Both knees surgically repaired too

Can’t slide when running the bases anymore and led to him rolling his ankle

The contract he signed was based on these facts and he and his agent were conceding to a high risk for injury

But you can’t deal him unless you are starting over, and keeping Framber pretty much sums up our philosophy of putting just the tip in and not pulling out

Problem in trading him is when you do get healthy Yordan, there's just no replicating what you get from him. Roll the dice on his health and hope he can hit like hes capable of.

Oh come on there will be much dumber this off-season, someone will say they think Lance is gonna be a productive member of the rotation this season.

Post on Twitter summed up my feelings on it.

Probably didn't deserve to be fired, but it certainly doesn't instill a ton of confidence.

It's a duo that doesn't feel like it can raise the ceiling on the org. Health will certainly help, but there is a ton of work that needs to be done this offseason to build it back to something more than just hope to make the playoffs then catch an early exit.

I wasn’t expecting either to be fired

But that doesn’t mean we are keeping the hitting coaches

Yet, anyway
