Bruce Bochy out as mgr in Arlington. Moving to the front office.
My assumption is that this is more of a move to hire Skip Schumacher than it is a reflection on Bochy.
Hey Crane…this is what being proactive looks like.

Lots of parts are moving already across the league
Bochy out in Arlington
Baldelli out in Minnesota
Melvin out in San Francisco
White Sox fire their pitching, hitting, catching and first base coaches. Plus their offensive coordinator, whatever that is.
Carlos Mendoza survives in New York and Don Kelly has his interim tag removed in Pittsburgh.

Houston stands pat…just guessing.
If any changes are made, it’ll be low-level staff. Core will remain the same.
Hope I’m wrong though. This staff has had their day.

Is Hinch safe after the collapse?

I definitely don’t want to know anything more about stick bottoms.

Now going get Bochy would get the juices flowing, but he doesn’t meet organizational requirements
And I’m guessing he decided to step down, or hobble down, if you will

Probably. But he’s also still in the playoffs and could still make a run.

Its a great day to fire Cintron and Snitker.
Were already into day 2 of the off season. What the hell is taking so long?

Regular season attendance was down 107,325 this season. And then you throw in no playoffs. Those are some big checks that he's missing out on. It's shocking these clowns are still on the payroll

Setting the record for injuries = league industry wide issue
fricking IDIOT

If tweet fails to load, click here. Well tbis is a weird thing to say isn't it? If you expect he'll be back, say he'll be back. "He's currently the manager and is under contract" isn't much of vote of confidence.

Not sure who they’d turn to but I’d take a flyer on Rocco Baldelli who was let go by the Twins today
Bruce Bochy only has a couple WS under his belt is all.

There were no valuable questions asked today. No pressing Brown or Espada on how this season went haywire after the All-Star break. I expected nothing less though. Chandler Rome should go down in the flames with Espada and his minions

The idea of Bochy I find particularly appealing for this group is that he won't let the veterans continue to be too comfortable. Holding them accountable and making them hate losing is important. Sleepy Joe doesn't do that shite.

As much as you all love to micro analyze every word and phrase and every move in the history of the organization, the bottom line is there was a record number of injuries. Highest number of injuries in history. And they were STILL on the verge of the playoffs.
Don’t over think it. I don’t think he needs to spell it out in a press conference

the bottom line is there was a record number of injuries
Also, not once did our credentialed media members ask why we were 2nd to last in runs scored after the All-Star break and couldn't hit the water if we fell out of a boat. That was not entirely injury related - we simply could not hit the ball. There was no accountability to be found in that regard
