ALCS will have more primetime games than NLCS, assuming each play same amount of games.

Not really.

ALCS and NLCS alternate.

NLCS goes first, so Game 2 has to be a day game. ALCS can push out two night games.

It was vice versa last year.

"Red Sox nation" would eventually diminish if they weren't given all of the advantages in scheduling times and amount of national tv appearances.

Guess you forgot about the crap start times for the ALDS last year. Oh wait you probably weren't a fan last year, my bad.

Game 1 [Thursday]: 3:08 start
Game 2 [Friday]: 1:05 start
Game 3 [Sunday]: 2:38 start
Game 4 [Monday]: 1:08 start

But yea RED SOX NATION FACTOR BRAH

I'd argue Sox were only in Primetime for the ALDS because of Yankees based on those times from last year. Same 4 teams were in ALDS, yanks see primetime all way through, when Sox don’t play yanks y’all aren’t in primetime. Just pointing out facts.

The worst thing about the post-season is all of the "I've been a [yankees]/[red sox] fan all my life for the past 3 seasons" people that poop all over the DAT.

Welcome y'all.

Location: The Woodlands

I bet their will be some jackass at the games this week with a jersey of one team and a cap of the other.

Angry Loser Tyler Bauer is at it again..

@Buster_ESPN

Every game. Watch pitchers when a new ball is thrown into play. They'll rub the wrist of their glove hand, or some other spot. You see it dozens of times in every game--which is why the demonization of one player or another over a postseason screen shot is silly. EVERYBODY KNOWS.

What about the demonization of a player who doesn’t want to cheat (because that’s what it is) talking about the science behind how foreign substances actually affect a pitch and how they can change a game, a career, a player’s monetary compensation, and an entire industry?

Julia Morales-Clark out at ATT?

This chick must be doing the fill-in Astros work because Bart Ennis got cut.

Not that I'm aware of. Hoping Gattis is dropped for an arm, but not even sure which arm I would want.

I have 5 rooms at my fav place 4 blocks from MMP and 1 block from Conservatory for Game 6 and 7, but my recent travels and brain farct left me without reservations for Games 1 and 2 within walking distance.

Any suggestions on a place that would be good to stay and easy to get to and from MMP before and after games with Uber, etc.

I'm not as good as others when it comes to downtown. I just Uber in from the Sawyer/Taylor Target parking lot to the games/drinking spots. I'll let someone else get ya straightened out.

Boston has a fantastic offense, pretty good starters (assuming Price isn't broken, just sucks against the Yankees), good defense, and a mediocre at best bullpen. If the starters can go deep into games, Boston has a good chance of winning the series, if they can't the Astros will win it hands down.

It'll probably be announced tonight or tomorrow. AJ has said they'll probably carry 13 position players and 12 pitchers like they did last year

Starting pitchers
Justin Verlander
Gerrit Cole
Charlie Morton
Dallas Keuchel

Bullpen
Ryan Pressly
Roberto Osuna
Lance McCullers
Josh James
Collin McHugh
Tony Sipp
Will Harris

Infielders
Jose Altuve
Carlos Correa
Yuli Gurriel
Marwin Gonzalez
Alex Bregman

Catchers
Brian McCann
Martin Maldonado

Outfielders
George Springer
Josh Reddick
Tony Kemp
Jake Marisnick
Myles Straw

Designated hitters
Tyler White
Evan Gattis

The ALDS was 14 to 11 with position players so that means dropping one and adding a pitcher. Gattis or Straw would be the obvious guys to cut with Rondon or Smith the replacement candidates.

Gattis playing time has dwindled to nothing but with short left fields in both ball parks, is his power threat worth carrying? Myles Straw is fast as hell but with Marisnick on the roster is he necessary in a pinch running only roster spot?
