Considering I have a 32" TV sitting on my desk next to my computer...I will be at the absolute minimum of productivity.

Hope I'm wrong but I'm not sure what McCann brings at this point. I guess Dallas is more comfortable with him.

Gets us another lefthanded stick in the lineup today. I don't mind it.

Lefties hit Clevinger a lot harder than righties.

More walks, less strikeouts, better ratios all around.

Keuchel has his worst numbers with McCann catching this year, FWIW. 8 games with McCann, 21 with Stassi, 4 with Maldonado, and 1 with Federowicz. So not huge sample sizes, but his ERA with McCann as catcher is 4.93 this year, compared to 3.60 with Maldonado.

He was also pretty bad at the beginning of the year. Much better in the 2nd half

The Saints play the Redskins and the Astros play the Indians today... on Columbus Day. You can't make this up

Here is the blueprint for success:

1) Get Keuchel through the 1st inning.
2) Build an early lead and let the bullpen finish it off.
3) Cue the bull and the broom
4) The team flies home, with the obligatory stopover in Cincinnati, and gets back into Houston in time to catch Game 3 of Yankees/Red Sox on the tube.
5) Watch the Red Sox and Yankees beat the shite out of each other tonight, tomorrow night, and Thursday night.
6) Be rested and raring to go for whoever survives. I don't even care who it is.

It is an omen.

Whether it is a good omen or a bad omen remains to be seen....

As always, I agree.

But I got the last laugh on those assholes today. I get off work at noon and since the Saints play tonight, I don't mind the day baseball game today.

I’ve got PSVue service, so I will be streaming via the website on one of my monitors at the office. Probably hit the sports grill nearby for lunch to watch a bit there while I eat as well.
