He left Taylor in the game to face a lefty which meant he had to stay in the game to face 3 hitters and Seattle pinch hit for the lefty anyway.

There’s no focus sometimes. I know the DAT has talked exhaustively about Correa turning down that last offer, but how can he demand more when he gives you so many at bats like that last one?

So let’s recap:

We’ve blown a 3-run lead twice.
We didn’t go to our most reliable non closer reliever to face their best hitter with first and third and 1 out.
We pinch hit for a guy who just got a hit in his previous at bat and the pinch hitter gidp.
We still didnt bring in the reliable reliever to start the 8th and now the game is tied.
