Well, that only matters if your goal was to not out-loss the Rangers and Mariners
History likely will show that moves including Pena and Brown are the only ones that would have been significant
I was not in the all or none category.

Espada can’t keep abusing every arm every time. As bad as he is, at some point when 5 innings is the max of any starting pitcher, you run out of options and are stuck using what your front office gives you
They also have one reliever (Imai) who he’s only allowed to use sparingly because of his contract structure

Is Crane just praying Imai wants to go back at this point?

Imai would have to be wired pretty different to punt on that kind of money. It’s not happening

It's not that. Bagwell hates sushi.

Yes, possible, maybe even probable
But what will the return be for a partial season minus their value in this playoff run?

Who knows. Look at what we got for a one year rental of Kyle Tucker.

Tough one. The biggest at bat of the game found their best player and he delivered.
White Sox currently trailing as well as the Rangers loss. A little cope as to not be as mad as I should considering they put up 7 in a Christopher Sanchez start and still lost comfortably.
40 man roster options to replace King are Van Wey, Jason Alexander, and Santa who has been pretty bad in AAA. Teng still has a few more days before he comes up. Unless there is a waiver guy out there or they really want to push Mayer and use him in a bullpen role.

So annoyed with Hunter. Needed him to go deep especially with a big lead so you don’t even have to go to King. But of course it didn’t help that last night, we couldn’t keep a 5 run lead from getting interesting so we had to use the primary relief guys. Can’t let big leads slip away two nights in a row and not end up with bullpen trouble.
