I was at IAH this morning.

Saw a lot of Astros fans boarding a flight to Boston-Logan Int’l.

Today is going to be great.

I got to go to Fenway for the first time in May. It’s a pilgrimage for a baseball fan, and it’s definitely a cathedral. I’d love to see the Astros play the Sox there.

If you’ve never been, go. Still haven’t done Wrigley, that’s on the todo list too. Boston is a cool town.

Actually going to Fenway when they play the Yankees in a few weeks. Looking forward to that for sure. Always wanted to see that series in person.

It's not a cathedral it's a shite hole. I've been there and it's the worst stadium I've ever been in.

Yeah and ironically it'll be more than a goddam fortnight before Correa shows up at the goddam plate.

The thing about those old ballparks like Wrigley and Fenway that you can't get in the new ones is the feel and atmosphere around the ballpark.

I know millenials, maybe even up to yuppies, won't appreciate all of the tradition, 7th inning TMOTTBP to Sweet Caroline in the 8th, ivy to Green Monster, but even they would enjoy a full day in Wrigleyville or outside Fenway in the taverns, rooftops, and bars, as compared to most of the modern stadiums.

I don't know anyone who would choose a Jerry's Place game for LSU instead of Tiger Stadium, and it has nothing to do with kickoff to final gun.

Yeah, I'm 50, I'm a MAN, come after me! LOL

Fenway is a great experience unless you are a Yankees fan on the losing side. At least with the Stros during the ALCS after the game the people told me good game instead of "frick you, you fricking Yank"

I've been there for Yankee games. I can verify that. LOL

But Yankee Stadium is worse for EVERY opponent. LOL

I thought Fenway was better than the previous Yankee Stadium. Lots of history sure but the stadium sucked.
