Nope. Next year has been the target for about 5 weeks now. The Astros don't have the pitching to compete in the playoffs. They're just going to get better though, no old guys with huge contracts, a farm full of great prospects, a long future of success ahead. I feel bad for rangers fans because they're blowing their load so early.

Next year. That's all you can say is next year. It is not meant to be this year. They're just a better team. Have been all year. Pitching, hitting and coaching and yet all of these games are 1-run losses. They've single handedly kept us out of the playoffs.
We seem to have a water mark every year. Last year we never broke the 15 game over .500 barrier. This year it was 10. It's better just to lose. Higher draft pick. More opportune schedule.
