The whole "bring Maton in to clean up a mess" deal was cute and somewhat effective for a while, but it's past time to move on from that.

Can we burn Maton at the stake?

Thank you for the excellent pitch calling and pitcher whispering, Maldy

frick you Dusty, this is why you need more offense in the lineup because we don’t have a shutdown pen. We could easily have a few more runs already this game with Diaz in ahead of Peña and Meyers

ETA: and I am aware Maton sucks regardless, just proving the absurdity of Maldy being some catcher God that made our pitchers successful last season which is clearly horse shite

This team may not even get a wildcard. Forget catching the Rangers…

Maton with the traditional 25+ pitch relief appearance to get two outs.

Wrong. He only managed one out.

Fricking baker goes to JP France. Why not just go to him right away. Fricking idiot. Let’s let them tie it before we go the guy that’s been solid all year. Instead I’m going to put a guy in who can’t even exit the bullpen without giving up a run.

Obviously Urquidy was tired and never should've started the inning. They had France for that scenario, and Dusty still managed to frick it up.

Chas doesn’t have many hits this series, but his at bats have been very solid for the most part. Seeing a lot of pitches
