Anybody got a scouting report on the 3B we called up for today's game?

Anyone see the quote from Correa in an Athletic article today about this being his last season with the Astros? I don’t have a sub but caught a glimpse of it on IG

"My Last year with the Astros Hopefully we can win another championship and I can leave this great organization with two of them"

Ouch. Do we think that’s posturing or is he really gone?

I would be stunned if he’s on the Astros next year

It's obvious he's going to take the longest deal he can get, and that won't be from the Astros. The hypocrite hilarity will ensue if he's in the Bronx next year.

I think that’s been a foregone conclusion since the end of spring training when he turned down their offer.

Jon Rosen of William Morris Endeavor

Not the typical big time MLB agent but also recommended by A-Rod, who obviously has major business and entertainment interests.

I’m sure it’s been discussed a few times this season, but who do we see as other potential suitors that would shell out that kind of dough?

Mets have Lindor
Red Sox have Bogaerts
Yankees could use a SS
Dodgers have Seager (is he a Free Agent too)
Angels like to spend money
Blue Jays have Bichette but surely they’d rather Correa and could move Bichette or find another position

Yankees Angels Toronto Rangers have said they’re going to be active Tigers and Mariners I see spending money this winter (Crawford isn’t bad though)

Phillies also

Idk why but the Rangers would bother me more than the other West teams you mentioned. We’d see him the same amount of times but it’s something about those Arlington fricks. Yankees would be the worst of course

Yes, he is a FA, and the Dodgers will have Trea Turner next year.
