I truly dont get it Marwin is a solid 3rd baseman and a passable at best SS. Bregman is a mediocre 3rd baseman but IMO a very solid SS.

Marwon is great but not as a shortstop

No doubt Marwin should be at 3B and Bregman at SS with Correa out

I've enjoyed your posts in the DAT,
Why thank you sir.

While the Yankees may not be able to "thank" the Astros for making the WS, another team probably will.
If you read the piece and its blurbs about the Astros, there are some glaring points that cannot be ignored. The Astros bullpen is ranked 12th in the AL, and it has been a banged up one with ineffectiveness. What did Luhnow do about it? Add Liriano, who has an ERA of 4.58 and will likely only face lefties, and what do you have? Not much of an improvement, really.
The Astros brass should have gotten someone, maybe even two, additional pitchers. The bats are there; the pitching is not. Let's make it an even playing field, get rid of Tucker, Fisher, and AJ Reed and go get an arm or two. Whitley will not see MMP until 2020, and with the Astros playing their best baseball now, I'm reminded of Theo Epstein's quote, "IF NOT NOW, WHEN?"
This was the time. Luhnow had one shot, one opportunity, to make it happen. Luhnow did not capture it, he just let it slip.
Oh yeah of course.Hope to protect what you can but overall I agree with the piece in general I just think we match up well with the yankees. If its down to us or them I pick us and I guess fortunately for us they made some moves that match up well with others to maybe take out the Indians for us.
I do 100% agree we had an opportunity to put us over the top and passed it by. Gotta hope things click together now.

Makes a dumbass error, strikes out on 3 pitches. Have a night Marwin.

Gosh this has been frustrating.

I don't think DKs pitches are moving much, he's not getting many swings and misses and they are fouling off everything.
They've got 6 hits and 3 runs now on 2 hard hit balls.

He's got 0 control of his fastball. The breaking ball isn't sharp.
