If you read the piece and its blurbs about the Astros, there are some glaring points that cannot be ignored. The Astros bullpen is ranked 12th in the AL, and it has been a banged up one with ineffectiveness. What did Luhnow do about it? Add Liriano, who has an ERA of 4.58 and will likely only face lefties, and what do you have? Not much of an improvement, really.

The Astros brass should have gotten someone, maybe even two, additional pitchers. The bats are there; the pitching is not. Let's make it an even playing field, get rid of Tucker, Fisher, and AJ Reed and go get an arm or two. Whitley will not see MMP until 2020, and with the Astros playing their best baseball now, I'm reminded of Theo Epstein's quote, "IF NOT NOW, WHEN?"

Oh yeah of course.Hope to protect what you can but overall I agree with the piece in general I just think we match up well with the yankees. If its down to us or them I pick us and I guess fortunately for us they made some moves that match up well with others to maybe take out the Indians for us.

Gosh this has been frustrating.

I don't think DKs pitches are moving much, he's not getting many swings and misses and they are fouling off everything.

They've got 6 hits and 3 runs now on 2 hard hit balls.
