Astros really need new hitting coach IMO - they are so immature the way they swing for fences every time up. Swinging as hard as you can rarely yields positive results. Glad I didn't bet on them tonight.

In the last 30 days, Gattis is batting .217 with 7 RBI. Now that we are willing to play Marwin in LF, we need to DH Tucker.

That all depends on what the budget is going to be. But I think we will have room to re-sign Kazmir and go after a big time OF free agent if we let the top prospects and Tucker battle for playing time at 1B/DH. Gotta trade off Valbuena, Carter and Gattis while obviously not re-signing Rasmus to do that.

Luis is in the same situation as Carter. We will get something useful for him in a trade.
Gattis has nice value as well. We can do stuff like get a really good LHP for the bullpen with these vets who are too TTO to keep together long-term.

I mentioned in a DAT not too long ago that Aug & Sept have been really bad for Gattis throughout his career. He has a .215 batting average or some shite in those months. I was hoping it was just because he was playing the field in the NL and wearing down as the season went along but that it wouldn't happen here since he rarely plays the field. Guess that's not the case...
