Like a phoenix, our Astros have risen from the ashes. The Houston Road Warriors return to their happy place. I know it's a bit sappy, but I've prepared a poem I'd like to share with you...

I was full of "lol" when the A's signed Edwin Jackson....then I looked at his stats.
Last 3 starts:
19.1 Innings pitched
0 ER
11 hits allowed.
Sumbitch threw 110 pitches last time out vs. the Angels and seems to be getting stronger since they acquired him and brought him up in June. In 9 starts, he has allowed 2 ER or fewer in 7 of them.
Tonight won't be easy.

19.1 Innings pitched
0 ER
11 hits allowed.

I remember when Edwin Jackson threw 149 pitches in a no-hitter... he gave up 8 walks.
I can't imagine any manager letting someone throw 149 pitches in today's game.
