DAT 8/16 Astros (McCullers) vs. Mariners (Sheffield) 1:10 PM

The good ole boys have officially risen to the level of mediocrity. It wasn't easy and there was angst late in the one-run game.
But the good guys won and indeed, Hazzard County is abuzz.
10-10 might not look like much, but progress is progress. The folks in the DAT are as happy as three fat foxes leavin’ the chicken coop with nothin’ but feathers.
Once again, the victim was the Mariners, who have dropped 23 of the last 25 to the Astros. Here is a photo of the Astros waiting to greet the M's upon their arrival to the ballpark:
The bats got just enough done and the pitchers locked down the M's lineup. Ryan Pressly looked like himself again. Josh James did NOT look like himself. And Cristian Javier is looking legit...all good signs.
Altuve requested to be placed lower in the batting order. Dusty batted him 7th, only because 11th wasn't an option.
So on to today. LMJ hopes to build on his last outing and the M's counter with a guy who got his 1st career win last time.
Looking forward to more spoils of victory today

Well done
Gonna be golfing, but should be around about the time LMJ reaches 60 pitches or the 3rd inning, whichever comes first

Lance was dominant last time out. So in typical LMJ fashion, rather than build on an excellent start, I expect he'll struggle with command and be knocked out of the game before 5 innings.

IDK, Home Lance is 100x better than Road Lance. I think they should try to start lance as much as possible at home and leave his arse in Houston when they go on road trips. He’s practically useless on the road.

Same lineup as yesterday. Super Jack is back for Brantleys IL stint. Stackedddd

I look for Al7uve (credit Jwho) to go deep today.

As long as the Astros lose..... I don’t care. This could have been the next dynasty in the MLB but proved they had to cheat to get there.... A damn shame.

Yordan Alvarez has been scratched from the Astros lineup with right knee discomfort, the team announces
frick.
The guy is 22, played 2 games and doesn't play the field. That's alarming.

Why can’t we get Yordan’s knees right?

I hope LMJ has his good stuff today.

He needs to not push it trying to leg out an extra base or infield grounder. Just mash and figure it out after the season.

Reddick has slightly more power than Straw.

“Tucker swings at the first pitch and falls into the Astros dugout.”
