What did we change in the past three days to make such a difference? Hmm...
Realized we were playing the Minnesota Twins....? Took one game to figure it out too.

Who had won like 9 of their last 11?

8 out of their last 11.
2 Ws against the Rays
3 against Cleveland (real gem)
1 against Baltimore
2 against White Sox
I see that as more of an anomaly than a true indicator. Might be regressing down to their seasonal average.
They really had a bad April, May, and June.
P.S. I don't trust the success...right now...

We haven't been able to hit against anybody.
This is cause for celebration.

Whats more shocking is that Altuve is 0/3 tonight.

Also, a side note on Correa.
I was looking at his numbers from last season, and I didn't realize he had 22 homers in 99 games. He came into today with only 16 homers through 109 games.

I saw it. Baseball reference spelled his damn name wrong, but they're accumulating his stats luckily. They even have his stats from his Cuban leagues. He apparently played in Japan fairly recently too, which I thought was interesting.

Yeah, they say he basically showed up out of shape and depressed because he couldn't play in America but still hit over .300.

He doesn't even have to come in and hit that. If he comes in and hits .270+, with an OPS of ~.720, it will help the Astros a ton right here. Castro should be benched for life btw.

Can the Twins just forfeit to save their pen and let us leave for Toronto?

They're probably pissed that game was basically erased yesterday.

Speaking of no runs allowed....fricking JA Happ.
Leading the AL in wins.
He has that token middle-reliever name that kind of floats around, some years sucks, some years solid. Yet here we are...

Gomez took George's shitty, out-of-control swing with him.
