Fire these guys into the sun.

Your five hole trying to bunt for a base hit. With a runner in scoring position no less. Is that bad

Tonight is the night. And then I buy the team

Against a guy that’s clearly struggling with command. That’s probably a Chas call. He’s retarded and I truly never want to see him in an Astros uniform again

How weak is ur team to bunt w 2 outs vs a wild pitcher that is just lucky to be in the majors. Oh and he was behind 3-1 on another batter
Oh, and you bunt a pitch out of the strike zone
Hate this team passionately

The skeptic in me thinks Chas is trying to get traded or DFA’d. The effort defensively last night on the “double” in the first inning was pathetic.

I very much like the version of this team with Pena/Paredes/Meyers that was playing so well, and I think it’s a dangerous one in a playoff series with the Framber/Brown and Abreu/Hader combos. No franchise has the depth to withstand this

But why is Chas McCormick in the lineup? Batting 5th? And playing with the freedom to bunt in that situation?
There are ZERO correct answers

There is no good way to fill out that lineup card at this point

Dusty called the code red.

Maybe the team wants to give Chas a great chance to come around or dfa

As bad as it is, Chas is a bench player at best
He is NEVER in the 5 hole. Not even at Sugar Land
And under absolutely no circumstance does he have the freedom to bunt in that situation. But if he does, he is immediately benched
But even this is all a moot point. He should have less than Salazar and Guillorme status on this team. Yet, here we are.

Walker pops a first pitch center cut hanging slider foul
Fouls off a 91 mph middle middle fastball

And whiffs on 1 above his shoulders. Not sure why anyone throws him anything other than a shoulder high fastball.

Chas is finding it
maybe not today,
maybe not tomorrow
but soon

The answer is Billy Wagner

405 foot fly out, that’s about right
Homer in 25/30 parks
Royals have added Frazier and Grichuk. Yea those guys stink, but they stink less than what the Astros have been running out there and would probably help a bit
