Overall I think we had a very solid deadline
Twins pay for 1/3 of Correa’s contract and we got a LH bat with Sanchez. Urias can be plugged in a few places too
Disappointed we didn’t get an arm of any sort but the market looked STEEP

When I saw the price the Rangers paid for Kelly, I knew Melton level wasn’t getting that done

Padres gave up a top 5 prospect in baseball and 3 more arms for a closer and mediocre SP.

Not worth it for most rentals. We have enough pitching that will make it back and be effective in the next few weeks.

I have faith that Framber, Brown, and Javier can be a good postseason rotation, probably Garcia too. Just need the other guys to be solid and I think they can

Agree. 3 MLB players in positions of need.
Now the question is....who gets voted off the island of misfit toys? We are adding 3 new acquisitions and Pena is coming back (maybe Whitcomb is the corresponding move there) so some fellas are going to have to get the hell on out of here.

Cam and Sanchez have to be in the lineup at the same time. He will DH I guess until Yordan gets back next year.
I don’t see why he wouldn’t play LF and get Tuve off his feet until they had to make the Yordan decisions

Yeah, Sanchez will play a ton but there will be some RF starts against tough RHP to give Cam a break. They still have Melton and Trammel which means they can now have an all-LHH outfield vs. RHP with Altuve as DH until Yed returns, if they want.
