I would think it would be warranted through Thursday. Any chance of any reinforcements getting back to start the weekend series?

In that case here is the weekly review

Week in review:
- The power of friendship lineup has ran its course. These guys suck
- Have surrendered the first run in 18 straight games. Including 11 times in the first inning
- Embarrassing 4-game sweep by the A's. Outscored 32-6
- A 12+ game division lead over Seattle and Arlington is down to 4 in the matter of 2 weeks
- Chandler if you're reading this, you're still a bitch and your media credential is useless

Injury updates:
- E-sock: presumably dead. I will go ahead and say he's out for the remainder of the year. Hell, he may miss 2026 too with this Medical Staff
- Yordan: who the hell knows
- Pena: 1 August expected return
- Melton: rehab with Space Cowboys. May as well call him back up for Hummel
- Dezenzo: N/A
- Meyers: N/A
- Spaghetti: 1 more rehab start and then he returns
- Javier: expected to return after Spaghetti
- Walter: probably visiting our good friend Tommy John. Expect some sort of misdiagnosis
- J6 France: rehab with CC Hooks
- LMJ: just a massive pussy with a blister

Looking ahead:
3 vs Washington
Off-day Thursday
3 @ Boston

I think for the sake of keeping up with trade rumors and discussion during deadline week, we stay above ground. Easy to miss things when its underground.

We're probably going to trade a bucket of balls for a washed up OF that can't even outplay Hummel.

I’m in between Ryno/Wahoocs and wanting to make any significant deal to add ammo at the deadline. If all we can count on hitting wise is Pena + Melton back is this anymore than a wild card team? I wouldn’t be opposed to a smaller deal where we at least can make this team watchable until September.

Agreed. Sewers should be a once or twice per season thing when we are desperate
