I just read this quote from Milo. Anyone know who he was referring to?

Someone needs to tell the Astros you can't vote pitchers on the All Star Ballot. The in stadium field report keeps asking us to vote DK in the All Star Game.

Milo hated Caray and I mean hated him. Caray was the man who got Milo kicked out as an announcer in Chicago.

IMO Caray was a drunken bafoon.

Kinda funny Milo is throwing those stones. I've heard he's a pretty big a-hole as well.

"Being around Caray, day after day, was a real challenge," Hamilton writes. "Harry's handling of people was poor, to say the least. It didn't matter if he was dealing with the starting pitcher, traveling secretary, the public relations person or an usher. He treated everyone the same way. In short, he was a miserable human being."

Wow, I just read up on that. I never knew about that feud. Milo held that grudge for a looooong time.

Well, the rumor about Caray in STL was that he lost his job there in the 60's because he banged the owner's wife.

On a somewhat related side note, Caray once called a game at the old Colt Stadium in his underwear because it was so damn hot.

I've heard that as well. Grew up listening to Gene Elston call Astros game and never understood why they replaced him with Milo. IMO, Elston was much better. Very steady….was a homer but not over the top like Milo and didn't whine like Milo.
