I predicted he had a chance to at least be a 3 starter if we gave him a chance. Didn't think he could be this good.

Ha just read AJ Reed was at the game tonight and was wearing an astros hat he bought at a mall in Indiana after he was drafted. I guess he couldn't wait for the free ones

I'm saying it now.
Our success falls ultimately on Castro & Carter. They have got to get it together. Looks like Carter is further along at this point. (I can't believe I just said that). If those two get going, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility that we could get back to 500 before the all star break

I really like that they picked him. Right now I see him more as a DH for the stros because of singleton at first. Who knows what happens though if he can better develop his defense now that he won't be pitching anymore.
One thing is for sure the cupboards are no longer bare! It's nice to have so much depth finally.

Why not? Santana is still very young.i would bring up santana when you get rid of fowler so springer can move to center and santana can play right.
