JJ Cooper ?@jjcoop36
Worry with Puk? He averaged 4 2/3 innings per start this year. Has pitched into 8th once in 3 years at Florida.

Agree. From what I read on the college arms in that range, I liked him the best. Also, I'm not big on Dakota Hudson at all.

Can't comment on Hudson. Haven't been as into this draft as past as we aren't super high

Yeah I don't like Puk. I think he ends up as a good reliever which does not warrant the top 10 pick.

Same. I only saw Hudson a couple times and I liked what I saw. I know very little this year outside of SEC players. From what I've read on the Illinois guy I'm intrigued

Really impressed by him reaching the 10th inning twice. Hopefully his arm isn't shot

I wonder how much Groome wants since he is sliding hard. Can we underslot round two hard (taking Biggio, for example) to get enough money to sign Groome?

Yeah that would be interesting. I know we're in hate JL mode right now but he's very aggressive and creative in the draft

We'd have to crazy underslot the 2nd and 3rd rounds to free up $4M. Like, take two guys who take 100K.

I like him in the draft other than taking Appel over Bryant.

Appel was a consensus number one for two consecutive years.

I know he had a lot of hype and praise but I don't think it was consensus. I was going for Bryant over Appel 100% at the time.
