Because that wasn't the point of the article? Everyone realized if we could take a mulligan right now we would pick Bryant, quit beating a dead horse

Because he could get him under slot and he had major upside and youth on his side...a great pick when there was no real top player other than buxton.

Appel...not so much.

Appel was the consensus number one basically two years in a row. He went where he did the year before because of signability. It was the no brainer slam dunk pick that didn't work out. Time to get the frick over it

Keuchel is back to back pitcher of month winner. Last to do that inside the same season was Johan Santana in Cy Young winning 04, July-Sept

He had a good month. But we're 5 games up in the division, so I won't lose any sleep over it

Same someone has played great defense and was a key part of our April success. He's not as good of a hitter as April suggests, he's not as bad of a hitter as May suggests

Last I checked Drew Stubbs had been sent to AAA and didn't play for the Astros.

Let him be, the Astros have won two and row so he can't post his "It's Happening" .gif.

I'm going to lulz so hard when Delino inevitably comes flying back down to earth.

I applaud his dedication. Whenever something good happens to the Astros, there's always a "wonder what LE is thinking right now?" comment soon after. He's in some people's heads.

And yes, Delino is not going to continue to put up these kinds of numbers

They all were not just called by Charlie Pallilo on afternoon drive "stinking...like rotten garbage braised in garlic and dipped in cowturds" like appel just was.

Deshields is another story...no reason to let him walk and keep LJ Hoes who has zero potential for anything

Wait so is everyone here done with Appel? Call me crazy but I'm honestly not even close to ready to jump ship on him.

I still think he might amount to something but I wouldn't be too upset if we traded him
