That escalated quickly. Not like 'Arkansas in the bottom of the 9th tonight' quickly but pretty quickly.

With the DAT after dark it's nice to be able to go to sleep before the game's over

Holy Law of Average corrections, we are killing it in games after scoring 10+
Posted on 6/18/25 at 10:57 pm to wahoocs
This would make us 4-1 after scoring 10+ this season

Killllla Cam is dialed in
Have y'all noticed how much more hes pulling the ball recently? We talked about that a month or so ago about how he needed to start turning on some balls and finding his power.
I love his early willingness to send singles oppo. Good trait to have and I hope he doesn't lose that. But its good to see him finding some growth and getting quick inside.

With a slight adjustment to his launch angle, he'll hit a ton of homers.

It’s all about recognizing offspeed pitches
As he gets more comfortable and has success away, they will try to bust him inside
Hoping he can continue to figure it out, unlike Chas. Once Chas adjusted to being busted inside, he never regained the oppo approach that made him

A big fella like Cam can stand a bit further from the plate, still cover the outside and pull his hands in to turn on pitches.

Name a MLB hitter with quicker hands than Pena
Posted on 6/18/25 at 11:14 pm to wahoocs
And he's going to be a Gold Glove outfielder.

Os blew an 8-0 lead to the Rays tonight. I hope we can make a deal with them at the deadline. They’re for sure going to be sellers
ETA: I wonder what it would take to get Eflin. Final year of his deal

They have some interesting expirings in Mullins and O’Hearn but not sure the fit, assuming Yordan is alive, with Altuve getting a majority of his run in left field and Jake needing to be run out there every day.
If the move for a difference maker corner outfielder is there to be you’d think they stuff Tuve back at second. Not sure if those two fit that mold though.
Eflin would be an interesting work horse get with the injuries, but I think he’s been battling stuff on his own this year maybe?

I'd love to get Nolan Gorman from STL.

Arkansas is still cleaning the piss from their leg after that 9th inning.

They need a crate of ShamWow's for that.

Cam really takes what’s given to him. He utilizes the whole field. I bet his spray chart is a bit of everything
