I hate seeing Springer hurt. I can’t help but root for that guy, which is why I’m glad he did not sign with one of the New York clubs.

Same here. Hated to see him leave. In addition to his obvious talent, I think his presence is sorely missed in that clubhouse.
I will say from a business standpoint I guess they knew what they were doing with regards to his health. He was already injury prone and that won’t get better with age. Second stint on IL and I was reading that it is projected to be a good bit longer than the 10 days.
