Well this isn't what you want to see.

going from George springer to a CF who may not hit a HR all season.

George has more homers than Straw and has only played in 4 games.

Meanwhile Chaaas has more HR and RBI than Mike Brantley in late May.

A statement I never thought I’d see.

Chas had a good eye in the minors, 148K to 125 walks. So far in the majors he's playing a Chris Carter role. guy closes his eyes and swings hard.

About right. Right at Mendoza line but has some power.

Don't think he got the tag on him in time but you couldn't tell definitely that he didn't graze the arm on the way down or something.

So how bout Straw as a base stealer? 5 steals 4 caught stealing.

Yep. He was there. And those slugs barely looked at it.

Ah, replay. Almost always disappoints.

ETA: As for Straw, if his speed is elite as the Astros front office made it out to be, he should have beaten that one-hop throw easily. He has one tool, and even that one isn't really a tool.

Only the Astros could get 2 runners on and the opponent still faces the minimum.

I’m excited. I’ll be there tomorrow afternoon. First Astros game in 25 years and first time ever in Minute Maid Park.

Been missing these key 2 out hits with RISP all night. We need some insurance I don’t think they finish with 1 run
