JD Martinez is the gift that keeps on taking.
Not only did we lose what turned out to be a very good player, we now have to suffer through extended development of players with potential.
And this is perfectly fine when you have lowered expectations, but not much fun when you're supposed to be in a pennant race.

You know what would be awesome? Astros pull a double Dierker, firing Hinch to name Ashby manager and Blum his bench coach for the rest of the season.
