It hasn’t been how many pitches they get wrong, it’s when they get them wrong. And the Astros have been on the disadvantage way more times than not.

The 1-1 pitch was a strike but Maldonado fricked it up by dropping the ball. Today's umps have a hard enough time calling balls and strikes when the catcher catches the ball. Don't make it worse for them by dropping the pitch.
