Well, we’ve ran ourselves into outs. We have 1st and 2nd no outs, and the book says there is an advantage to bunting those runners over to score a run

Tuve attempted to bunt for a base hit regardless of situation at least a dozen times last year. He’s struggling and grounded into DP first AB

Absolutely PERFECT opportunity to be productive and you let him swing away into a K. Of course Walker follows with a warning track shot that can score nobody

The bunt was so hard to call in such a favorable situation that you now call a double steal with one of your slower runners

Espada belongs with Cintron, Snitker, et al in an Independent League somewhere that farms WBC teams from the Middle East

His stuff isn't going to be too good more than two times through a lineup, it seems.

How much does Espada really expect to get out of Gordon? It’s his 2nd start and he gives you 5 solid innings and shows weakness in the 5th. How do you possibly send him back out for the 6th?

Appears that way. Fine to have one of those types of guys but gets worrisome if the rotation becomes a majority of those types of guys.

Sweeper is very sweepy nice little pitch. Sinker must be pretty shitty and no changeup. Very much a JAG

Well, our lineup is only good one time through and management is never good

So there’s that

Ah. Our offense ran that script where they score a few runs early, you think it might be a good night....but then we do nothing the rest of the way.

Baseball savant tells me Jake’s was a HR in 2/30 ballparks. The other being Yankee Stadium

Make sense. Steinbrenner is a Yankee stadium clone. Could have gotten more out of that inning. Altuve is freaking brutal at the plate right now.

This has heartbreak written all over it

I’m gonna take a walk to go sit on my nuts and get it over with so I can do something better with the rest of my night

Good luck to us. We’re gonna need it
