Should be another great scene at the stadium with the boys receiving their rings pregame and Beltran throwing out first pitch

The Orioles team batting average is now up to a whopping .134 and the pitching matchup is their #5 starter vs JV. If this wasn’t the OP, I’d prob respond to that stat and say “Stros will def lose because baseball”....but frick that noise I say we go out and win another series

Here’s a pic I took last night:

Will Correa be in lineup today? Even if it's just uncomfortable to walk with no other "damage" to be done, I'd be okay with him resting. No need for a lingering pain to lead something worse.

I see we removed all banners except the 05 NL champs and 17 WS title. Didn't see the old division title banners anywhere else. New expectations. I like it.

They painted them on a brick wall in the stadium somewhere and added the '81 division title.

quote:

The remaining Astros postseason teams – National League West titles in 1980 and 1986, NL Central championships in 1997, 1998, 1999 and 2001, the NL Division Series winner in 2004 and the American League wild card winner in 2015 – now will be honored with a series of pennants affixed to the brick facades of the stadium's upper deck.

Added to that display will be a banner for the 1981 team that won the NL West championship during the second half of the strike-shortened season but lost in the NL Division Series to the Dodgers.

"That team has never been recognized, and they had a great series that year against the Dodgers," Ryan said. "Teams like 1980 and 1981 and 1986 bring back memories for me. We wouldn't have gotten where we are without the guys who played before.

last I saw he was placed on 10-day DL

quote:

"We met shortly after the BP ended and we just decided to err on the side of caution," Hinch said after the game. "There's been no setback, no issue than we want to give him a couple more days and our only option was to put him on the DL."

I'm good with this. Give the other guys a couple weeks up in the bigs while everyone is fresh. You want to be able to give guys days off as the season goes so this may help with that if Yuli can play more later on

Fisher is looking like a good add. Love having His speed in the lineup against righties.

Man if he would lay off a few of those he’d get some fastballs but he’s trying so hard to make an impression

I was very impressed with Bregman's D last night. I wish he would show it to us more often.
