Today we play the Athletics. What does that mean for the Athletics?!

With Astros bats missing balls at an alarming rate and Manaea coming off a no-no, you would think the struggling vs LH starter Astros might be lucky to scratch a run.

But I just have a hunch that this game is destined for big numbers.

I'm ready for a May record of 23-5.

Gotta get the 8 and 9 hitters hot. Looks like Ted won't be fast tracked early this year because his bat is ice cold.

May be time for Kemp or JD to get called up.

Ted needs to experience the grind a little before trying it on the big stage

Hell, his dad even had to do a year in Minnesota. LOL

Making the pilgrimage from BR to Houston this series. I've watched the Astros play the Athletics every year the past few years, and each year we've beat their arse.

OT- Saw ur post on St Aug vs Rummel and thought it was sarcastic or pun intended. When I realized it wasn't, I had to text a friend that played for Rummel and LSU.

He said some things u just can't explain. LOL

The a’s aren’t a terrible club this year. In fact had aj puk not tore up his arm they might would be in the WC conversation late in the year. With that said if this Astros team is what we think they should be we should easily get a series win when we have pitching matchups of manaea-Keuchel mengden-McCullers and Cahill-Cole

I know they also hammered Jesuit in a game by double digits this year, too. St. Aug is now a baseball school.

Their offense have been really good. Which bodes well since our pitching staff is really good also

On Saturday night, #Astros Hall of Famer Jeff Bagwell will make his season debut as a guest commentator for AT&T SportsNet -- his first of several appearances this year.

Assuming he'll be in there with Blum, it'll be great. They were hilarious together in Spring Training.
