DAT 4/17: Astros (4) @ Mariners (1) FINAL!

The slide to the bottom continues. The hangover is real. 10-152 is a big possibility. Questions continue to pop up, “will the Astros ever win again?”
Is it too soon to start the fire sale?
What we need is a rainout.
Road Lance looks to right the ship and put the team on his back by throwing the perfect game that this team obviously needs in order to win. Time to wake Jobu.

Need to start the rebuild ASAP. Get rid of everybody.

Well, maybe we can still split the 4 games with Cole and Morton.

This is the only logical answer to our struggling offense. I’ll get some rum as an offering.

Is 10-152 gonna be enough to make the wild card this year?

Let’s see if we continue the streak of scoring 1 run
Going to be awesome

Is it time to bring Ted Tucker up to the big league club?

If this is accurate then not sure what we would wait for...

As lame as it is... probably best to wait until it doesn't cost a year of control.
Then, yeah, why not?
Infield stays the same, McCann/Stassi at C, Reddick/Springer/Tucker in the OF... Marwin can be your UT guy or DH.

Honestly, he may be the spark that we need in the line up. I would rather see him after the all star break but we need some life in out line up and Fisher has been nothing short of a black hole in the line up. Fisher brings great speed but that's all and we already have Jake from the farm to play that role.
I could see Tucker fitting nicely in this line up behind Springer in the 2 hole to break up the 4 to 5 righties we usually have in the line up.

I have no reason why but I think today is the day the bats wake up.

Bregman sure looks like an arse after his preseason comments.

Tucker isn’t coming up soon, he’s not the magic cure for all of our offense underperforming. Seems like slow offensive starts might just be the identity of this team, but the talent of this roster will right the ship.

Bregman’s favorite player said on XM a few minutes ago that the current league wide batting average is as low as it has been since 1968.
At least it just isn’t Houston at this point.

Heard Blummer say last night that the Stros have the same exact run production through 16 games this year as they did last year. Don't panic baws, baseball is a long season of ups and downs. We will right this ship soon. Better to slump early than late.
