A lot of the talk about the Yankees is because people didn't expect them to be good also. Being the Yankees is a huge part as well, but everyone expected the Astros to be good

It's more than just that... When the Astros were a terrible team he would come into the DAT bragging about placing bets against the Astros for the "easy money mate".
That got old quickly.

The starting rotation is still largely unproven.
If they keep winning like this through May and the Astros will be getting a lot of love.
I think the more important thing is, opposing pitchers already know... The Astros lineup is legit.

He wasn't around until around that time either. During the 100 loss seasons the DAT last about two pages and it was full of DATers making fun of our team. Maybe a few cheers when JD Martinez or Matty D went yard. TxGunslinger ran the Matty D fan club.
However, SirWinston is an absolute douchenozzle on other boards as well. He latched himself to Trump on the poliboard and the mouthbreathers over there clung to him like he was some hero. He can't actually defend any of his stances, he just runs around posting very generic things praising Trump and morons eat it up.
