tKing has nothing left to learn or prove in the minors. Give him some run as DH or trade him.

I get that they kept Gattis in part because of doubts on Stassi. Well, it looks like kid is a capable enough hitter and a far better defender. Time to go.

Yeah, it's really getting to be redundant to roster Gattis and Stassi.
Unless Gattis rediscovers his power stroke, but I'd have my doubts.

It’s really starting to cause issues. Currently our DH isn’t hitting, our super utility guy isn’t hitting, our outfield platooners aren’t hitting. JD Davis started to come around but he was sent down. Tyler white is hitting but because we have gattis and stassi he can’t come up.
Apparently stassi is out of options?
Ludlow should seriously think about sending fisher down imo. I think platooning is messing with his hitting anyways. He needs to be full time either in the majors or minors

Yeah, who would have thought stassi would have a better avg, more homers and more RBIs at this point than gattis?
Stassi batting .304 with a homer and 6 RBIs
Gattis batting .196 with no homers and 5 RBIs
McCann batting .313 (2nd best on the team) w/no homers and 1 RBI
Incidentally, Altuve, our #3 hitter: No homers, 4 RBIs (8th best on the team) but leading with a .344 avg.
There’s just no timely hitting on this team to this point in the season with too many expected and unexpected non-competitive at bats by familiar faces.

Quiet .344 for Altuve... 21 hits but 19 are singles and both extra base hits and doubles.
The last few seasons about 1/3 of his hits went for extra bases.

I really thought his power numbers would continue to rise. But he’s off to a very slow start this year. Like the rest of the team really. Reddick has 3 and George has 3. Correa has 2. Jake even has 2. A few others with 1.

90% of the reason I drafted Paxton in fantasy was for the starts he’d make against Houston so I guess that does improve the odds we annihilate him

Gattis and Jake need to go. They are both useless. Call up Tucker in a few days and go get one big bat to DH. Done. Of course, a lefty reliever would still be nice too.
