I don't mind Fiers stepping into Kazmir's spot. I think I heard someone say that Kazmir is topping out at 86-87 on his fastball, so I'm not sure if MMP is the safest park for him to be pitching. I haven't looked at his spring stats.
I would like to see Houston eventually get a starter and if White and Reed work out at the ML level, then I guess I don't mind seeing Tucker and Singleton plus some other prospects for a starter.
I hate to see any of the prospects go because you watch them come up from the draft to MMP. I'm sure Bregman would be a piece asked for as well. Ship him, honestly. ..I don't see him much better than a guy like Jed Lowrie. That's just me.

With White, Reed, Moran, and Duffy starting to emerge I wouldn't be shocked at all to see a trade at some point with Gattis or Tucker and some prospects for a SP.

Game doesn't mean a thing but its damn sure enough to piss you off 5 days from the start of the season. This is the nearest thing we've had to a dry run of a real game. Ace went 7 innings, the lineup was full of starters who played 7. 2 key bullpen pitchers come in to lead an 8 run inning.
