Speaking of having a ridiculous bullpen...I saw something the other day about the Royals having an interest an Darren O'Day. No. Just frick that.

He may be right about Sipp, but he is a troll. He clearly wants the Astros to fail.

I don't have much of a problem with Drellich. Of course I went through the ages before twitter when getting Astros articles relied on Jose De Jesus Ortiz and Richard Justice. Ortiz' goal in life was to start drama from the front office and Justice loved trolling fans (like Finebaum with Bama fans)

Drellich is good. Ortiz sucks. Tags is a troll on twitter & his writing is bland.

Agreed. Chandler Rome is a decent follow sometimes too.

Brian T. Smith is my favorite tho

Tags is a cocksucker. I do not actively root against many sports teams, but I sincerely hope UH loses all their games because he never shuts up about them

And yes I grew up in Houston

First player to ever accept the qualifying offer.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Sources: Free-agent outfielder Colby Rasmus will accept qualifying offer and return to the Astros for one year, $15.8 million. Story coming.

I'm not mad. But I was hoping we could do something this off season to somewhat shift away from the low average, home run dependent, strikeout prone offense. With that in mind, I was fine with letting Colby go. Rasmus lead the team with 154 strikeouts.

Wow that just shows how much he loves the clubhouse. Guess that just opens up more cash for pitching.

I'd be willing to bet Tucker helps us get a closer. Not sure I want to see him go though.

I think he gets 5 years which I think was too many for Luhnow.

Well if you swing at everything and still hit over .300, that's not too shabby

Aybar and more going to Braves in Simmons deal. This is a DAT approved trade IMO.

Halos giving up their top two pitching prospects. When did their front office hire Tim Pupura?

They get a monster defender in the middle infield but lose some offense. Kind of seems like a push. Plus it seems like Aybar was always a thorn in our side.

Angels also gave up their top two pitching hopefuls though. Seems like a trade they could regret. Are they buying a big time arm now?
