Not throwing anything in their face. It feels familiar because the Astros and Cubs are similar teams, built similarly, and lost the exact same way in the year following their WS victory

I was hoping to repeat, but it's not meant to be. It's so tough to do that in baseball. 103 wins. Another division title. ALCS berth. Still a memorable season. Thank you for a great season Astros and thank you for having me DAT members. You are forever baws.

And I guess congrats to the Sox too. They were the much better team this series and it showed. Won't be that much longer til they hoist the trophy.

Unlike last season , the bottom half of the lineup was junk

The 2017 Astros offense + the 2018 Astros pitching might equal a 115-120 win team.

He was asked if this team was going to have hangover like the cubs in spring training

It was sorta a gotcha thing

Keuchel put his foot in his mouth talking about something he couldn’t possibly know a damn thing about.

He’s not a bad person, just the worst starter on one of the best starting staffs for the 1st half of a season ever.

I will enjoy his efforts and comments a lot more when they are for the opposition.

As a Red Sox fan, it would’ve sucked to have lost in the ALCS, but I would have most definitely cheered for the Astros to beat those cocksuckers from LA. I like the Astros, an incredible lineup filled with young talent. Very fun team to watch.

This was a pretty anti-climactic end to a great run. This team accomplished a hell of a lot, the past two years; it just wasn't quite as much we (Astros fans, anyway) were hoping for. It's fricking difficult to repeat; the fact that we were even in a position to do so is something to savor.

Hats off the Sox, didn’t make many mistakes and capitalized on all of ours. No doubt in my mind that this was essentially the World Series, wouldn’t be surprised to a sweep of MIL/LAD

Good luck

How 2018 will be remembered:
Astros bats on the road were mighty.
Astros bats at home were puny.
Astros pitching was holy.

I don't even need the 2017 offense. It's hard not to think what might have been with a healthy Altuve and Correa down the stretch and into the playoffs. Franchise record 103 wins and an ALCS berth is nothing to scoff at. But it's hard not to feel like we didn't get to see this team at its best.
