I agree, but no way would that get overturned like that. One of those calls that whatever was called on the field was going to stick.

I literally said ignore that circle. That guy didnt even draw a circle where it hit. It did hit though. Whatever. Sox made it irrelevant.

Jesus Christ, that's his glove hitting the panel.

Except Fenway. LOL

For some reason I was thinking the Crawford boxes were a little closer.

Okay, there are only two parks where that's not an easy out.

Probably a homer at Fenway actually because of the trajectory. I love baseball and all of its intricacies.

I mean the ball changes path at the same time just above the glove. Didn't matter, but the video and the sound of the ball hitting the panel in the other video are pretty telling.

WTH do you think a glove is made of?

Do well in Physics, I presume?

The ball's trajectory does not change as it goes into his glove. You can clearly see that from the angle at 38 seconds of the video I linked. Continue being blind, though.

look at the video I posted. Ball hits the panel just above the glove and slightly changes trajectory.

Except it also looks clean from that angle, and the side angle is a better angle to see that. You have to be trolling at this point. No one can be this stupid.

Ball hit panel just above the glove, panel moves, loud ball hitting panel sound heard on other video, ball changes trajectory before entering glove. Feel free to disagree, but acting like I'm trolling or stupid is silly.

I am an Astros fan and I honestly THINK the ball hit the wall first.

But here is what I KNOW. Tony Kemp sold it and there is no clear evidence, in my opinion, to overturn it.

BoSox won, move on. It doesn't matter at this point.

The ball can hit the wall with the glove behind it. There are holes in the pocket of the glove.

As long as it remains within the confines of the glove, it is a catch and the batter is out.

The force of the ball in motion is not completely absorbed by the glove. The metal wall will deflect.

Sure, but it appears in the video it hit just above the glove. Out was recorded, no big deal.

I agree, can't blame the officials for the call cause it did look like a catch and even with super slo mo it is hard to tell with 100% certainty either way.

So while I fully expect Hinch to stick with the same lineup as last night with another righty on the mound, what I'd really like to see is...

LF Kemp
DH Altuve
3B Bregman
CF Springer
2B Marwinning
SS Correa
1B White
RF Reddick
C McCann
