You’re probably right about that.

Just looked and saw that Aledmys is playing LF and Brantley is DH. Can’t say I’m really comfortable with that.

Time to give the Rays a good Frambering.

Yes. The first time wasn't quite good enough. They need the full Framber Experience

You have to think at some point all those missile we are hitting will find some holes.

And all of the all other balls that they are stealing out of the sky, time for law of averages to work out here!

The Rays are finding it hard to win when every bounce and miracle play doesn't go their way.

I patiently tried to explain that to their trolling fans the other night, but they were having none of it.

Right, I was mocked because I said despite the results that I did not think the Rays were that much better than the Astros and this was a very frustrating series.

Jayson Stark:

quote:

SHORTSTOP HISTORY: There have been just six other postseason walk-off homers by shortstops in the history of baseball. They’re rare enough that we remember more of them than you’d think.

There was Derek Jeter’s “Mr. November” shot off Byung-Hyun Kim in the 2001 World Series. There was Ozzie Smith’s “Go Crazy, Folks” shocker off Tom Niedenfuer in the 1985 NLCS. And there was Correa’s other postseason walk-off against the Yankees, just a year and two days ago.

But you know what separates this homer from those homers? Not one of them was hit in an elimination game. So Carlos Correa stands alone. He’s the only shortstop in history to pound a walk-off home run that saved his team’s season. Very cool.

quote:

TWICE AS NICE HISTORY: As we mentioned, Carlos Correa has done this before. So he’s now one of just three players in history who have hit two postseason walk-off home runs. The other two men on that list are David Ortiz and Bernie Williams.

quote:

Correa has played 604 regular-season games for a team that has won a lot — and never hit a walk-off homer in any of them. But he’s now played 61 postseason games — and hit a walk-off in two of them. Unreal.

Can’t win 4 in a row if you don’t win 3 in a row first.

LFGO, scratch across a couple in the 1st and really put the pressure on them. Total confidence in Frambaw to have us in a position to win

Brilliant call on a hit and run when the hitters can't pick up the ball.

Should have been able to get Snell over 20 pitches in the inning with the next AB.

Yeah with the shadows at worse you need to have him burn pitches esp with Correa and Bregs going against a lefty.

I mean it was 3-2 with your best contact hitter. I don’t have an issue with it at all whether it was called or Altuve did it on his own
