again... fully guaranteed contracts are the worst thing that ever happened to professional sports.
fans give a shite about the playoffs... the players do as well, but only to a certain extent because they all know that they're getting paid regardless.
take away fully guaranteed contracts and these players would give 100% at all times.

The amount the players get paid for playoff games for the team that wins the world series is significantly more than a team that loses in the ALDS

We've watched this game so many times at home this year. Fall behind early and have literally the entire game to do something but the offense shits itself. Wastes rallies and loses a close game.
