It didn't have to be destiny, they should be up 2-0 already and who knows what in this game if Altuve could throw

I can't either. Because literally no one thought that. At least not around here. We expected to be swept out of the Wild Card. Certainly none of us expected to be in the LCS with this bunch.

But keep telling your tale bro.

Who said that? That’s only been uttered about the Rays.

Promise to come back after the Rays get their arse kicked in the World Series?

The Rays are a very good team. They play hard and they play the game the right way.

But what they are doing in this series isn't sustainable. You will not get miracle catch after miracle catch. You won't get extra outs because the other 2nd baseman forgets how to throw. The 100 mph exit velos are going to start finding holes.

Your offense can be shut down. The Astros pitching has done it most of the series. You won't continue to win games striking out 13 times a game.

So enjoy this while it lasts.

I mean you just suck.

You aren’t interested in actually talking about baseball. Everything we say is a melt this or melt that.

Not this team

Astros are a very good team but we miss having Verlander, Osuna, Alvarez and having a competent coach. Though the pitching overall this series has been great, but Altuve forgot how to throw a ball to 1B. Maybe the series would have been different then but hey, the Rays are doing everything right and making miraculous plays every other inning.

Not meant to be but it is what it is. Surprised they even got here after they mailed it in 90% of the year.

Look at Josh James out there not walking dudes and giving up long ball. At least he's not making things worse. It'd be nice if he'd try doing this with a lead at some point in his career.

Exactly what I said. And they’ve gotten here by playing three wild card teams. We’ve had to beat two division winners. I just don’t see enough offense from this rays team and they’ll face better pitching and tougher run-producing offenses.

Was worthless on my fantasy team this year. So was Maldonado. Should have known better. Kyle Tucker was ok.

Predictions for this inning:

Altuve hits a ball to the upper deck, Rodeo arena sprouts wings in the style of Pegasus and takes flight to majestically sail in seat 15C as he makes the catch.

You could discuss that the Rays are capitalizing on opportunities given to them by the Astros. That’s a big thing in baseball, taking a mile when someone gives you an inch.

And the Rays are capitalizing bc thats what good teams do. But to neglect that the Astros haven’t had bad luck is just stupid. It’s a mix of bad luck and not getting big hits with RISP for the second straight postseason.

Also you are in an Astros fan thread trolling so you are going to get people upset with you bc that’s the nature of fanhood

It has been a bit of luck by Tampa but they’ve made every play. Astros have crushed the ball it just hasn’t been finding holes. If it wasn’t for two Altuve errors this series would be different.

It is what it is. I was going to cheer for the Rays next series but little pricks like you can change that fast.

After a season long slump, Altuve is finding his bat just in time for the season to end.
