The good ole boys find themselves in a pickle as they trail the Rays 1 game to 0 after last night's gut-wrenching 2-1 loss.

Yuli....damn.

Lance will get the ball for the good guys today. He needs to channel his inner Frambaw (words none of us thought we would EVER see placed together in the same sentence) and find a way through 6-7 innings.

The Rays counter with our old friend Charlie Morton. Our love for him will never waver, but as far as today goes....

Nothing left to do but get back on the horse today and grind out a win.

Let's ride!

I wanted the Yankees. I never had a good feeling about the Rays.

But damn! That hurt last night. Framber did everything we could have asked and walked away with an L.

Yuli, Yuli, Yuli...

And Ted was just a little unlucky. Springer's out stealing was a big difference, too.

Very nervous with Lance on the mound today, but I wouldn't be surprised if he went off today though.

I haven't watched any of Chuck Salt this year, but his stats didn't look that great, which probably means he throws 7+ innings of shut out ball with 10+ Ks most likely.

We just need better execution today. We had them right where we wanted them and could not take advantage of it. Bregman is right, they’re seeing the ball good, and they’re hitting the ball hard, just have to execute better with RISP. We should have won last night, I’m not too worried especially because it’s a best of 7 series. Long way to go

The MLB never ceases to amaze me with the stupid as shite playoff start times.

I’m down with you not sleeping. I’m thrilled because I won’t be at work for over half the game!

I can watch at work, for the most part... then listen on the radio as I drive home.

That 6:00 ET start for the NL series is pretty much perfect.

It just doesn’t make any sense to me, I can deal with late starts while playing a west coast team but ironically we got all afternoon games for Oakland.

8:40 local in Tampa is so dumb. The MLB is delusional about how many people are watching both games.

Yeah, all afternoon games for Oakland was dumb.

Tampa and Atlanta are bost eastern, so one of them is getting fricked with the late start regardless. So now they're fricking over two fan bases in Tampa and Los Angeles (3 PM local start time) instead of just Atlanta.

I honestly figure the Dodgers were going to get the preferential treatment, but I guess not.

Is it just me or is Ernie really emphasizing the nigro vs negro pronunciation when doing these negro league videos?
