Astros informed Chas McCormick today that he made the major league team, a person with knowledge of the team’s plans said

When you outhit your opponent that much, go down swinging that much, on top of giving away so many free bases, to lose 3 games by a total of 4 runs (with one of them being a walkoff HR that hits the top of the fence at a 45* angle and stays in play, all you can do is laugh. LOL

I think Straw will be my new whipping boy, even with Castro back on the roster

Did you see Jose Siri strike out swinging on 3 pitches twice yesterday? Dude has filled the void of donkey hacks that was left by Springer.

He is Siriously bad. Pick up Maybaw or Delino Jr.

I just saw that on the MLBTR Twitter but he's already resigned with the Cubs on a minors deal. But seeing as we cut Cishek to save $2.25 million, I'm guessing Maybe would cost too much anyway.

Hope Astros aren't as bad as LSU baseball.

I obviously don't expect them too, but just wanted to point out how done LSU is in that sport until they get rid of Mainieri.

Meanwhile the Mets owner thinks 6/$180 for Lindor is a laughable number. Not gonna be surprised if he gets a deal done this week and sets the market. O/U $300 million is the question

I’m fine not signing Correa. Lets see what our young pitching core does this season. If they maintain their performance we are looking at a contending team that needs a few bats on the market. If last year was a fluke, then we have to rebuild a little bit. To compete you’ve gotta have cheap pitching or cheap hitting, and cheap pitching is what we’ve got.

We will have a pretty good idea where the future of this team stands going into 2022.

I'm curious how the Doyers will come up with $200 million for Corey Seager with Kershaw, Bauer and Mookie on the books with Bellinger coming in a few years. Because you just know it'll happen. And then they'll shite out another top prospect.

He'll get very close to it if he doesn't.

Seager and Correa deals should theoretically be pretty similar unless they have wildly different 2021 seasons. They’re very similar players with the same type of question marks in many ways.

Keeping Correa is preferred but signing one of Rizzo, Freeman, Bryant or Conforto wouldn't hurt my feelings either.
